    Another Scarby Season has passed...

    Monday, May 26, 2008, 11:31 PM [General]

Well, we managed to make it out to Scarby a couple of times this year.  Once in garb to be guests at an old friends wedding and the second trip, alas, sans the garb. Decided since we didn't have garb lined up for my son, we'd all go 'mundane' but we still had a blast (as usual).  Looked for familiar faces, but unfortunately didn't run across anyone I recognized.  There's always next year.

Speaking of next year, chances are we'll only make it out to Scarby once.  My dear wife is returning to college to study to be an Occupational Therapy Assistant.  It's a two year program so, looking down the road, the money will likely be a bit tight then.  But I do hope we'll be able to make it out to Middlefaire this coming Sept/Oct. and if so, I hope to see all of you who plan to go to MF at that time.

BTW- On our last visit to Scarby this season (5/17) we forgot our camera, and we were at the 5:30 Fool Hearty show.  Wouldn't you know it, my daughter got called up onstage, and there we were without a 'Holbein Box' to capture the moment.  If ANYONE reading this just happened to be at that show and MIGHT have possibly gotten a shot of my daughter (blonde hair, green shirt with hearts on front) onstage with Marquis & Ima, I would love to get a copy of it.  I know, it's a total shot in the dark, but it can't hurt to ask. :)

    At last! Photos!

Finally added a few shots from our visit to Scarby on the 12th of April. I'm terrible at taking pictures. I always seem to forget I have the 'Holbein Box' on me and never quite take enough. So without any further ado, below you will find a few shots I managed to pop off.
